STRYDE are delighted to announce our success in a competitive tender process to supply over 80,000 STRYDE Nodes™ to a leading Far East Geophysical contractor during 2021.
The success in the tender completes a remarkable year for STRYDE in which our clients have deployed or purchased over 170,000 STRYDE Nodes for use on a diverse range of applications including Geothermal and Oil and Gas exploration, Mining, Archaeology, and the monitoring of Seismic Risk.
STRYDE Technology has now been deployed in 13 different countries across 5 continents.
Commenting on the recent success, Mike Popham, STRYDE’s CEO said:
I’d like to thank them for selecting STRYDE. We look forward to working together closely in 2021 to deliver safe, efficient, low environmental footprint seismic surveys.
'This is a fantastic achievement for STRYDE. Once more, it demonstrates the confidence we are seeing across the globe in our world-class team and our game-changing technology. Thank you to all of the companies who have supported the rapid adoption of our technology, which delivers on our promise of unparalleled imaging of the subsurface at an unbeatable price.’
Earlier in 2020, the contractor performed two field trials using 1620 STRYDE Nodes™ which were deployed in mountainous regions of Southern China, comparing STRYDE’s system with other leading nodal and cable acquisition systems.
Sam Moharir, Head of Business Development at STRYDE, who led the negotiations in conjunction with Amie Foster, Account Manager at STRYDE, commented:
I am delighted that they have seen the value in STRYDE’s technology. I have been in the seismic industry for many years and I know for certain that the STRYDE Node™ will establish itself as the ‘go to’ solution for virtually all land-based seismic survey work around the globe.
'Customers can now take advantage of a technology that delivers up to 4 times the productivity in terms of line crew utilisation as well as benefiting from an 80% reduction in the number of transport vehicles.
Additionally, the compact and lightweight STRYDE node™ considerably reduces HSE risk and minimises the environmental footprint of acquisition.’
It pleases me greatly that they gave STRYDE the chance to prove ourselves in the field and it is a testament to the efforts of our entire team that we were able to meet and exceed our customers expectations.’
2020 has been a standout year for STRYDE, particularly given the unprecedented impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. Despite having to largely work remotely, STRYDE have helped clients successfully acquire high-quality seismic data across Geothermal, Mining, Oil and Gas, Seismic Risk, and even Archaeology.
