Industries we operate in

Born from the challenges of helping people illuminate giant onshore oil and gas fields, STRYDE's technology is changing seismic imaging forever and making high-density seismic affordable for all industries. Learn more about the industries we operate in and how they are using our technology right now.

Unlocking unrivalled land seismic cost savings and operational efficiencies across multiple sectors and applications...

Oil and gas

Oil and gas

Oil and gas is where our technology began. We set out to prove that land seismic receiver technology could be improved beyond all recognition - to offer the prospect of better data, lower costs, unimaginable operational efficiencies, increased safety, and lower environmental impact. We are now enabling 2D and 3D high-density land seismic surveys for oil and gas exploration and production optimisation projects across the world.
Geothermal

Geothermal

Geothermal energy production is faced with a paradox: how to safely produce energy at scale in locations close to where that energy is needed. Because many potential sites are found in urban or industrial areas where seismic acquisition using cabled systems or large nodes is not feasible, companies need access to low-impact seismic equipment. STRYDE's compact and lightweight nodes are an enabler for geothermal exploration and monitoring. At a fraction of the cost, our nodes can be deployed quickly, safely and discreetly even in busy environments containing complex infrastructure.
CCUS

CCUS

High-density imaging is essential for the discovery, development and monitoring of onshore sites for geological storage of CO2. STRYDE opens up the possibility of rapid, light, lower-cost deployments, including time-lapse monitoring of injected CO2 to make sure it remains safely in the subsurface. De-risk and unlock CCUS exploration projects and monitor integrity across project life with cutting-edge technology and fast-track data processing solutions.
Mining

Mining

In mining exploration, high-density seismic data allows you to bring new metal and mineral discoveries to production faster than ever before - as well as informing the expansion of existing mines. Uniquely, STRYDE technology offers precise imaging at depth, at a fraction of the cost when compared to other nodal solutions. This is invaluable in pinpointing veins of precious metals, even in steep structures.
Hydrogen storage

Hydrogen storage

Hydrogen is a crucial energy resource for our future, therefore safe and effective underground storage of this critical resource is essential. STRYDE ensures that the identification and monitoring of subsurface hydrogen storage locations using seismic data to make informed decisions is financially viable whilst significantly reducing land disruption and environmental footprint traditionally associated with land seismic operations.
Civil engineering

Civil engineering

In the past, you had to settle for the limited near-surface imaging resolution of traditional seismic acquisition. Today, STRYDE Nodes™ offers high-density seismic imaging that can optimise design, cut your maintenance costs, improve safety, and allow your team to illuminate hidden hazards - without major disruption and at a significantly reduced price-point.
Seismic risk

Seismic risk

Optimal seismic risk assessment requires dense spatial sampling to assess the influence of site conditions on local ground motions. STRYDE's low-cost, lightweight and easy to transport nodes mean that they can be mobilised and deployed quickly to wherever they are needed for seismicity monitoring.
Research and Development

Research and Development

From new archaeological discoveries, to agritech and elephant tracking, STRYDE has been used by a vast range of institutions to explore and advance science and our understanding of the subsurface.
