The market-leading onshore nodal seismic solutions experts
STRYDE was founded in 2019, and in just five years, we have transformed from a pioneering innovator of seismic acquisition equipment to the world’s leading provider of onshore nodal seismic imaging solutions.
At STRYDE, we adopt a fresh, bold, user-centric approach to land seismic acquisition, prioritizing what truly matters to our clients - affordable, high-quality seismic data.
This has allowed us to create and deliver the most agile and cost-effective nodal seismic solutions which are proven to enhance subsurface image resolution and enable our customers to make better, more informed decisions about their project or research.
STRYDE was formed by bp Launchpad in August 2019, since then we have grown to become the market-leading provider of land seismic nodal recording equipment, serving industries including oil & gas, mining, geothermal, carbon capture and storage, civil engineering, hydrogen, and academia.
On 30th Dec 2024, STRYDE Holdings Ltd completed the acquisition of STRYDE Limited (STRYDE) from bp Launchpad. STRYDE Holdings Ltd is owned by current employees of STRYDE.
The Directors of STRYDE Holdings Ltd serve as STRYDE's management team, bringing unparalleled expertise and proven experience in scaling businesses successfully. Under their leadership, STRYDE has rapidly grown into a global market leader in land seismic acquisition solutions.
This highly experienced team is driven by a clear vision and ambitious plans for the future, aiming to further expand STRYDE's impact and innovation within the seismic industry. Their strategic approach and commitment to excellence positions STRYDE for continued growth and success in delivering ground-breaking nodal solutions to clients worldwide.
"The new ownership of STRYDE marks a new chapter in our amazing journey. We enter new ownership with financial strength, a strong order book, and an ever-growing global customer base. With our industry-leading technologies, continuity of leadership, and our world-class team, the future looks extremely bright".
Proven benefits our customers experience:
Reduced CAPEX and OPEX costs on receiver equipment and survey operations, enabled by small, lightweight, and low-cost receiver technology.
STRYDE allows users to rapidly achieve a significantly greater trace density for any given budget, leading to a significant uplift in seismic image quality.
Environmentally damaging line clearing is eliminated, since equipment can be hand carried. You also need far fewer equipment transportation vehicles, reducing CO2 emissions and land disruption.
The lightweight design of the nodes results in the need for smaller crews, fewer vehicles, and less line clearing which minimises exposure to HSE risk in the field.
In 2024, STRYDE achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. This globally recognised standard demonstrates STRYDE’s unwavering commitment to quality management, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely adopted quality management system (QMS) standard, ensuring that organisations consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while continuously improving their processes and products. STRYDE’s certification highlights the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that enable more efficient and cost-effective seismic data acquisition.
