Seismic survey completion in the Kalahari Copper Belt of Botswana

Cobre 2

Exploring for copper deposits, with cutting edge seismic imaging technology

A successful pioneering seismic survey on the Kitlanya West Copper Project, in the Kalahari Copper Belt of Botswana has just been completed by COBRE LIMITED using STRYDE's seismic system.

During the survey STRYDE's nodes were used to acquire 62 kilometres of active 2D reflection seismic and the overlapping 100 square kilometres of passive seismic data.

How STRYDE can help

Detect mineral deposits quickly to de-risk exploration drilling decisions and mine expansion with high-resolution subsurface geological models.

As shallow exploration targets become rarer, the reflection seismic method is playing an increasingly important role in improving the effectiveness of our exploration drilling budgets by imaging the subsurface in high definition, at depth.

From full survey design to low-cost seismic acquisition, fast-track seismic imaging and interpretation solutions, we provide our customers with affordable, 2D and 3D seismic data.
